DSO2D15 Firmware updates
Edited by Kaluluka at 2022-12-19 21:50Hi!I have question to HANTEK Technical Division (if such exist ;P)I Purchased in second half of Last year (2021) DSO2D15 which came with 20210416 Firmware 3200 on it.At that time, it was not clear to do the firmware update or not (Because of reports on bricked units after update)
So, I decided not to update at that time until now, 16.12.2022.I went today to HANTEK official web side and there was new firmware dso3kb_20221028.zip,so, I download this and updated, so far so good, but when I checked Versionon DSO2D15 Software was 20221028 but firmware stayed at 3200?Guys are you kidding?I have found out and had older firmware’s downloaded, in between times, on to my PC, so I went and try first update:
dso3kb_20210630_auto_update_fpga and this one upgraded firmware version to 3202,after this I used:dso3kb_20210714 this one changed software only to dso3kb_20210714. Firmware stayed at 3202.Then I used:dso3kb_20220210 and again, this one only changed software to dso3kb_20220210. Firmware stayed at 3202.After I used:dso3kb_3205_20220928 (this one I found accidentally, here on forum!) and for sure, Software was dso3kb_3205_20220928 and now Firmware changed to 3205.Then I used again dso3kb_20221028 for software upgrade.
What the heck is going on with you HANTEK? Can you not write how to update firmware in correct way and also provide all necessary files in one place?Think About this......
