DSO5102P is very slow

I bought a DSO5102P a while ago and never really got around to using it until now. It takes a very long time to boot, around 2 minutes until I see the curve/graph, and all operations are really slow. If I try to change the vertical position it is almost impossible. Each change takes several seconds to complete. If I try to press a button I have to hold it down for several seconds for it to register.
Is there something I can do myself. I don't think I have any warrenty left though :-/

The DSO5102P, also known as the Rigol DS1052E digital oscilloscope, is a very slow device. This can be attributed to its limited bandwidth and sampling rate, which affects its ability to accurately capture and display signals in real time.
Dog Boarding Experts in Katy TX I understand that it is a budget scope and didn't think it would behave as a Techtronix, but mine is so slow it is, in its current state, useless.
I see online examples of DSO5102Ps that boot up in seconds insteand of over 2 minutes in my case.

So I do believe there is something wrong with mine.
For anyone finding this. A factory reset seemed to solved the problem.
1. Start the scope.
2. When the text "Hantek - Your testing solution provider" appears, switch it off.
3. Start again.
4. When prompted, select F2 to do a factory reset.
Voila! A working scope!
