If the instrument does not work, the possible causes are:
1. The instrument is not connected to USB.
2. The driver is not found.
3. The driver is wrong.
Firstly make sure the instrument connected to PC!
If the instrument does not work, please connect the instrument to your PC and do the
following items. If the driver is right, the system will display:
Method 1: Update Driver
Open “Device Manager” and see the driver is right or not.
If the driver is wrong, please update the driver!
Click right mouse and select “Manage”.
Click right mouse and select “Update Driver Software”.
Select “Browse my computer for driver software”.
Select the right driver path, click “Next”.
Click “Install this driver software anyway”.
Installing driver software…
Hantekxxxx USB DRIVER1 has been successfully installed.
Hantekxxxx USB DRIVER 2 will be installed automatically.
Then device driver is installed successfully.
Now your device is ready to use.
Method 2: Install the driver again.
Connect instrument to PC port.
Open “Device Manager” again.
Select “Hantekxxxx USB DRIVER 2” and click “Uninstall”.
Click “OK”.
Open “C:\WINDOWS\inf”.
Select the files whose name start with “oem” and delete them. For example:”oem5.inf”.
Open “C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers”.
Select “HantekxxxxAMD641.SYS” and “HantekxxxxAMD642.SYS” files and delete them.
Note: If the PC’s system is Win 7 64bits, please select “HantekxxxxIA641.SYS”
“HantekxxxxIA642.SYS” files and delete them.
Open “Device Manager” and uninstall “Hantekxxxx USB DRIVER 1”
Connect the instrument to PC port again.
Now you can install the new driver.
