After the last FPGA and firmware update, the power button is off. Illuminates only in USB mode, ie w ...

I noticed the same behaviour after I updated to FPGA v07 but then I noticed that the way it works now agrees with the description in the quick start guide under "Power"

When connect the power adapter to the oscilloscope, if the battery is not installed inside the
oscilloscope, the power key backlight is red and flash; if the battery is installed inside the
oscilloscope and the battery power is not filled, the power key backlight is red; if the battery is
installed inside the oscilloscope and the battery power is full, the backlight of the source key is
extinguishes.

Presumably the designer's intent here is that the LCD display is an adequate indication to the user that the device is powered up, and turning off the button illumination when not charging will slightly reduce the battery discharge rate.

Hello, I'm hoping this is the right place to ask. I purchased a Hantek 2D72 a few months ago, and today it was having issues - trying to adjust the view of a triggered captured waveform would reset it to a different invalid waveform, or simply do nothing. So I attempted to update the firmware via the Hantek application software (May 2020 version) and bricked the scope (bad state machine in firmware) during the erasure step.

I attempted the "rescue" mode from the same update tool: battery removal, hold F1, connect USB, attempt to update with Rescue ticked - same error.
I attempted the alternative method with dfusedemo and 2020-07-27 firmware DFU, this resulted in the same error and the scope being unable to power up at all, power button unresponsive, holding F1 to trigger DFU mode at power up was also unresponsive (no lights or flashing buttons)
I followed this process to connect to the TTL debug port: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uF2fdVxx1E, which successfully reloaded a bootloader. I was able to use F1 to trigger DFU mode again, but another attempt at a full firmware update in dfuse made it through erasure, and failed (bad state machine in firmware) at 2% uploading the firmware image.
I re-uploaded the bootloader via TTL again, and tried via the Hantek2000Update software again, same result.
Out of curiosity, I managed to track down a complete 512KB firmware dump from another 2D72 to try via the debug port, but it is from April 2019, my unit's original firmware was August 2019, the device boots with an upside-down display and inverted colours. Attempting a firmware update from there still resulted in a "bad state machine in firmware" following erasure and a bricked device.

The rear PCB shows the markings "HT2xxx_M", Rev.A09 2018.11.
The front PCB (with the user controls) shows the markings "HT2xxx_KB", 2018.11 Rev9

Is there a current bootloader for this hardware revision I can use to update to the latest firmware, or at least recover the firmware that was on there previously?
Is there a different process to recover the firmware for this device?

Cheers.

If you can use TTL serial port tool, please refer to the attachment to program arm1 and arm2:

a big doubt I am about the adapter: R $ 3.22 5% OFF | 1pcs PL2303 USB To RS232 TTL Converter Adapter Module
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mLev2h9

it has 5 output pins 5v and 3.3v Tx and Rx and Gnd but what would be the ttl level? can I use this adapter there from the link taking the 3.3v adapter and put in the oscilloscope vcc
but the final doubt is about the tx and rx have some max tension that these can withstand? will be that the tx and rx of that adapter there is compatible with the oscilloscope? in the description it says that it is ttl 3.3v and 5v levels beste if this adapter has automatic tx and dx voltage? can I use this adapter on the oscilloscope 2c42?

After the last firmware for Hantek 2D72 oscilloscope with firmware version 2020070701 and PC software update May 9th, 2020 version there are at least two bugs.

1. The power button LED is not lighting up if the oscilloscope is on battery power, which is very annoying.
2. The software crash my computer with a BSOD after a few minutes use, as a result my W10 Pro operating system crash and the computer restarts. This is really disastrous, I have not seen BSOD since Windows XP. This happens every time I use the PC as display. Before crashing the software stops responding, no controls or commands are sent to the oscilloscope and nothing can be done to save the computer from crashing.

Please help.

The volume for continuity testing is too low. It is lower than the button click sound. This is very annoying since it makes the DMM continuity tester useless.

Download and install the latest PC software (v1.1.12) and run the update again, it should have fixed this issue.

Or simply download the firmware from the product's page and install it manually. Refer to the first post of this thread to know how to proceed to install the firmware.

Possible to know what is the changelog between my june version (currently installed from recent purchase) and newest one, from july 2020...
Even the “buzzer” for diode continuity is too low.
