DSO4204C Function generator disabled after firmware upgrade

I tried to update the firmware on my DSO4204C and now the model number is changed and the function generator no longer works. I tried to recover the system using the F2 option at boot and that fails.

Before attempt at upgrade system information said
Model: DSO4204C
Serial: CN1908002003308
Software: 1.1.2(180608.0)
Hardware: 501.001.001.000.000.000.000.000
FPGA: a005

after firmware update it now says:
Model: DSO4254B
Serial: CN1951001004117
Software: 1.1.2(190701.0)
Hardware: 101.001.001.000.000.000.0
FPGA: a005

How can this be corrected?

Doesn't work. It updates the firmware but the model number and serial number do not revert back to the correct numbers and the function generator remains non-functional.

The firmware you used is wrong, please use the firmware upgrade in the link.

I did use that firmware, the model number does not update and the function generator still doesn't work. What else can be done?

I have exacltly the same problem, this firmware is bad!

It has now broken my DSO4254C and made it an DSo4254B

Yes I did use the correct firmware, can someone please give me way to fix this fault!

I have the same problem with my DSO4254C the update file is the right one.
The Update change the files on the scope... It change my voltcraft DSO to a hantec DSO
