1008c maximum input voltage

Hi,

I just buy the 1008C and I'm quite septic about the 400V of max input voltage off the datasheet.

I would like to know the real amplitude this oscilloscope is able to manage without any kind of attenuator.

Like peak to peak [negative-positive] or [0-positif].

A just want to know the real value in order to don't damage the oscilloscope or my computer, by choosing the appropriate attenuator.

The max measure voltage is -20V to +20V without any attenuation.

The max measure voltage is -20V to +20V without any attenuation. Please use 100:1 attenuation to measure 500V AC signal.
