maybe manufacturing defect on my 2D72

Hi, i bought a beautiful 2D72 from circuit specialists, and i noticed the usb port is blocked by some removable plastic piece, i dont know if its a manufacturing defect or its supposed to be like that.Am i supposed to remove it? because it looks like a piece that was supposed to be punched out in manufacturing,
i included a picture of the blocked port.

It is normal. There is no USB port under the plastic piece.
