There is a software bug with the keyboard handler. It is not detecting short key presses correctly. A beep is produced as expected but no action is taken. The only way to get it to reliably respond to key presses every time is to make deliberate long presses in the order of 1/4 second. This makes it extremely cumbersome to work with. Please fix this.
