Hi

I have recently had an incident where my USB stick caused short in USB power supply. Direct short on the power line.
Unit rebooted and does not allow to use USB connections.
Front USB detects my pendrives but beeps with message "device connected". Unplugging drive does not stop these messages.
Rear USB port works, I was able to install driver and connect to the scope but it constantly reconnects.

I opened the unit and found no obvious damage.
Tried reinstalling and upgrading firmware through internal micro-sd card slot but didn't fix the issue.
Ran dmesg and CPU properly recognizes both USB devices when plugged in.

At the moment I'm still hopeful it is fixable but I cannot trace any USB paths apart from daughterboard and front receptacle.
I'm afraid the main CPU is damaged which would be very unfortunate.

I'd be very grateful for any help since my diploma project is getting near and working USB is a massive deal for me.

Thanks in advance
