Hi,

I bought a DSO5102P a while ago and never really got around to using it until now. It takes a very long time to boot, around 2 minutes until I see the curve/graph, and all operations are really slow. If I try to change the vertical position it is almost impossible. Each change takes several seconds to complete. If I try to press a button I have to hold it down for several seconds for it to register.
Is there something I can do myself. I don't think I have any warrenty left though :-/
serial number: CN2151042067278
sw version: 3.40.0 (210225.0)hw version: 1010xffff8108
lcd.front.ts: 3.3.0

Best regards, Jimmy

P.S. I have tried the latest firmware but to no avail.

I understand that it is a budget scope and didn't think it would behave as a Techtronix, but mine is so slow it is, in its current state, useless.
I see online examples of DSO5102Ps that boot up in seconds insteand of over 2 minutes in my case.

So I do believe there is something wrong with mine.

For anyone finding this. A factory reset seemed to solved the problem.

1. Start the scope.
2. When the text "Hantek - Your testing solution provider" appears, switch it off.
3. Start again.
4. When prompted, select F2 to do a factory reset.

Voila! A working scope!
