Vertical Position Knob help informationTurn the vertical position knob to move the waveforms up or down on the display.Reset the reference to the vertical center of the screen by pushing the knob. There is one vertical position knob for each channel.
Vertical Scale Knob help informationRotate the vertical scale knob to set the volts/div of a waveform. The waveform display will contract or expand relative to the ground reference level. Press this knob to toggle between fine (in smaller increments) and coarse (in 1-2-5 step sequence) adjustment. There is one vertical scale knob for each channel.

Horizontal Position Knob help informationRotate the horizontal position knob to move the trigger point (indicated by the blue icon at the top of the display) left and right on the display, adjusting the horizontal offset.Push the horizontal position knob to set the trigger point to the center of the display (time reference point).
Horizontal Scale Knob help informationTurn the horizontal scale knob to adjust the sweep speed. This modifies the time base (sec/div) on the display. When adjusted after the waveform has been acquired and the scope is stopped, this has the effect of zoom in/out the waveform horizontally.Push the horizontal scale knob to turn on or off the split-screen zoom display. To change the width of the zoom window by rotating this knob.

To adjust the horizontal (time/div) scale
1 Turn the large horizontal scale (sweep speed) knob marked         to change the horizontal time/div setting. While you change the time/div (horizontal time base), the displayed waveforms of all channels are expanded or compressed horizontally relative to the current selected horizontal expansion reference position (refer to "Horizontal Expansion"). Notice how the time/div information in the status line changes. The horizontal scale knob works (in the Normal time mode) while acquisitions are running or when they are stopped. When running, adjusting the horizontal scale knob changes the sample rate. When stopped, adjusting the horizontal scale knob lets you zoom into acquired data. Note that the horizontal scale knob has a different purpose in the Zoom display.
